Lit Tip of the Week #10: Podcasts!
Podcasts can be such an engaging tool for supporting our kid’s literacy development through listening comprehension and critical thinking. When children listen to podcasts they are able to learn different forms of storytelling and learn new information through varying styles of reporting. Podcasts can also promote language development through exposure to complex vocabulary, informal and formal use of conversation, as well as diverse personalities and speaking styles.
