Celebrating Latinx Changemakers in U.S History
A very short list of books that teach us about amazing Latinx-Americans who have fought for diversity, justice, and change in American society. The people who think we need a more "patriotic education" system have never stepped into a US classroom. Unless their community and administration empower the educators, the current curriculum remains filled with glorified events that oppressed other peoples. Let's keep educating our children and empowering our teachers!
